A 15-year-old girl has been identified as the Wisconsin school shooter who killed a student and a teacher and seriously wounded several others.
According to the police, Natalie Rupnow died by suicide on Monday after going on a terrifying rampage at Abundant Life Christian School in Madison, WI, where she was also a student.
Madison Police Chief Sean Barnes announced at last night’s press conference that Rupnow — who went by the name Samantha – she was the attacker, which was a total shock because of her age and gender.
Shon also described what happened … He said a second-grader called 911 around 11 a.m. Monday to report a shooting at the school. Shon then asked everyone to absorb the fact that such a young girl called 911.
After officers arrived four minutes later, they discovered multiple gunshot victims inside the school’s classroom. Shon said the teacher and teenager died at the scene; Another 6 students and a teacher were also injured and were rushed to local hospitals.
The chief said that two students are in critical condition. Three more students and a teacher were treated for non-life-threatening injuries. As for Rupnow, she died while being transported to the hospital after suffering a gunshot wound.
Shon said detectives are investigating what motivated Rupnow to carry out the attack.
