Sara Michelle Gellar may have opposed a Buffy the vampire slayer restart at one point, but came up with the idea more recently.
The actress, who currently stars Dexter: the original sinarrested for The Drew Barrymore Show on Friday, where the talk show host asked him if he had any ideas about bringing back his beloved series in some capacity.
“It’s funny. He always used to say no, because he’s in his bubble and he’s so perfect,” Gellar said. “But looking Sex and the city (sequel series, And so) and watching Rightand realize there are ways to do it, it definitely makes your mind think, ‘Well, maybe.’”

“I’m very proud of the program we created and it doesn’t need to be done,” she said. “We concluded that. I am totally in favor of continuing the story because there is the story of female empowerment. I love the way the show turned out: ‘Every girl who has the power can have the power.’ It is perfectly set up for someone else to have power. But as I said, the metaphors of Buffy They were the horrors of adolescence. “I think I look young, but I’m not a teenager.”
